In April 2022, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project for HK Butler, an online wine store based in Hong Kong. The project was focused on creating a series of illustrations that would form the basis for the client's future rebranding efforts. The goal was to create a visual language that would appeal to male consumers, who are the primary wine buyers in the region. The illustrations were to be minimalistic, with a focus on the process of acquiring and tasting wine before giving it to customers.
The illustrations themselves were created using a combination of hand-drawn sketches and digital techniques, with a focus on creating a flowy, almost abstract look, that would give them a sense of depth and character. I worked closely with the client throughout the process, making sure that each illustration captured their unique brand voice and conveyed their message effectively.
One of the biggest challenges of the project was creating illustrations that were both minimalistic and detailed enough to tell a story. I wanted to create something that would be visually interesting and engaging while still being simple enough to communicate the brand's message clearly.
